Xbox One conspicuously left off the platforms getting this game.
While there have been plenty of massive games announced at E3 2015, Eite is one game that is smaller in scope but still has PC and PS4 users plenty excited. The game was officially announced along with a brand new gameplay trailer and the news that it will be available in 2016. Devolver Digital is the company behind the title, which has people plenty excited all on its own.
Eitr is an isometric game that is doused in Norse mythology. The hero of this story is a nameless Shield Maiden whose life has been interfered with by the Norse trickster god Loki. Now this shield maiden has to travel between nine different worlds in order to solve the mystery of what her fate was supposed to be and to figure out how she can fix it again.
While the story hearkens back to games like Dark Souls, it certainly has its own flavor and art style. The fact that Eitr is only coming to the PC and PS4 is interesting as well, considering Sony is putting together quite an interesting track record when it comes to indie console exclusives. Eitr is set to hit sometime in 2016.
