Following its 19 minute long gameplay preview for Elden Ring, FromSoftware is looking to the upcoming closed network test on November 12th. In a recent tweet, it highlighted the five different classes that would be available in the test, noting that, “In seven days, these five brave Tarnished will cross the Sea of Fog.”

The classes pictured include the Warrior, Enchanted Knight, Bloody Wolf and two other others. If the recent preview was any indication, the Warrior will wield dual blades, a double-bladed staff and a two-handed sword along with a bow and arrow. Meanwhile, the Enchanted Knight should be capable of magical spells like the rain of projectiles and devastating beam seen against the armored boss on horseback.

Much like Dark Souls, these classes should function as templates for players to adhere to certain play-styles. Expect a “deprived” class at launch as well which can be customized in a number of different ways. Elden Ring releases on February 25th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming days.
