Just when you thought it was safe to venture out into Limveld, FromSoftware has announced that four more Everdark Sovereigns will be added to Elden Ring Nightreign this month. Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast and Fissure in the Fog will go live on July 31st, though it’s not clear if they’ll be active at the same time.
Available every week, Everdark Sovereigns are enhanced versions of current Nightlords. They deal more damage and have new moves, making them much more challenging. Defeating them nets Sovereign Sigils for buying special Relics and, more than anything, it’s new content for those who have conquered everything that Nightreign has thrown at them.
Of course, FromSoftware will release additional DLC this year, which reportedly adds new bosses and Nightfarers. It’s also working on a Duos mode, though there are still no updates on its release date.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Despite its co-op, online-only focus, it crossed 3.5 million shipments and digital sales shortly after launch. It even topped the US sales charts for May. Check out our review here.
