Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new preview video for Elden Ring which was filmed in December for the 2022 Taipei Game Show. It sees producer Yasuhiro Kitao talking about the overall design of the game, from the open world and variety of dungeons to the freedom of customization for players. Check it out below.

Much of this will be familiar for those who saw the previous gameplay preview by FromSoftware or took part in the closed network test. Players can go pretty much anywhere in The Lands Between and along with smaller dungeons, there are larger Legacy Dungeons (like Stormveil Castle) where one must battle the Demigods. Abilities are no longer tied to weapons so it’s possible to have a character that, as seen in the video, can utilize spells and then shift to fighting with the bow.

Elden Ring is slated to release on February 25th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Kitao also confirmed in the same presentation that the game had gone gold. Read more about that here.
