Following less than a year of early access, Binary Haze’s Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist Version 1.0 is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review (where we gave it a nine out of ten), but what’s next for the gorgeous Metroidvania title?
Developers Adglobe and Live Wire confirmed that a future update will add some much-needed features – namely Boss Rematch and Boss Rush. The former allows for battling a previously slain boss, while the latter lets you take on all bosses in successive battles. It’s unknown whether the latter provides any additional rewards for doing so.
The same update will also add New Game+, which means carrying over the player’s progress into a new playthrough after finishing the game. Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights added new moves for bosses in NG+, but it remains to be seen if the sequel goes in the same direction. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
