Some recently added  weapons to Fortnite: Battle Royale include the Hunting Rifle and the Hand Cannon. Now, Epic Games has revealed that the next weapon to be added to the game will be the remote explosive. This should certainly be useful to players if used strategically and placed in the right places.

Since these remote explosives have just been announced, we can expect them to become available in the game in this week’s update. These remote explosives will certainly make players act more carefully as they traverse the map as there could be a bomb placed anywhere with an enemy lying in wait with the remote.

Additionally, it seems that these weapons are replacing the smoke bombs since Epic Games had stated that no one was making use of them in the game. As for the release of jetpacks in the game which everyone is excited about, it seems that we’ll have to wait for longer.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
