Escape from Tarkov New Update Adds Over 70 New Items

Plus, additional details on the upcoming open beta.

A new update for Escape From Tarkov added a substantial amount of content to the game, including over 70 new items; the update is available to download today. The update added new weapons, new starting gear, increased the stash size for players across the board, rebalanced grenades, added voice commands and gestures (to make communication with other players easier than it currently is), and technical improvements and optimization to the game.

Additionally, we also got confirmation that the open beta for the game is still due before the end of the year, and that the open beta will introduce another overhaul of the mechanics, and add a bunch of content to the game.

Escape from Tarkov is an online first person shooter, currently available on PC, in early access. With the open beta coming up, hopefully we see the release of the final game sooner rather than later, as well- maybe early next year?
