Coming off the heels of the first Etrian Odyssey remake, The Millennium Girl, Atlus has revealed that Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold will be releasing on the 3DS this summer in North America.
The RPG will be a remake of Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard and will carry the subtitle “The Fafnir Knight” with the story itself detailing the relationship between him and Princess Arianna. Like the first Untold game, you’ll be able to experience it in Classic or Story mode. Different difficulty settings will also be added to the mix as well.
Atlus is otherwise promising new visuals and improvements to the general gameplay along with some new dungeon layouts. A new story with a fixed party and anime-esque cut-scenes has also been promised. For an example of what those cut-scenes could look like, check out the announcement trailer above.
