“Conquest of Paradise”, a new expansion pack for Europa Universalis IV has been released, adding Colonial Nations, Native American Nations, and a randomized American continent to the game. Europa Universalis IV falls under the category of “build your empire” gaming, so this new expansion will offer players additional territories to conquer.
Really, the big takeaway from this update is the randomized continent feature. Gamers will be able to send their colonies out west to discover and conquer uncharted territories, but with a randomized America, no two playthroughs will ever be the same – the terrain will be different, and different people will exist and thrive in different areas of the continent with every play though.
Additionally, not only can you conquer Native American and Colonial nations, you can play as them as well. As a Native American nation you will be able to master federation mechanics and implement unique cultural ideas, and as the Colonial Nation, you can decide whether or not you want to declare war in the name of your motherland, or break free from it.
