It’s been a long, long time since we last got a new Evil Dead game, but given the enduring popularity of the long-running horror franchise across media, it’s no surprise that many are keeping a close eye on the upcoming launch of Evil Dead: The Game. And ahead of the multiplayer title’s imminent release, new details are continuing to come in.

For instance, it seems we know what the game’s storage requirements are going to be. As per @PlaystationSize – a Twitter page that tracks updates made to the PSN database – on the PS5, Evil Dead: The Game is going to have a download size of just 4.966 GB (though that doesn’t include the day one patch, if one is in the works). The page also states that the game will be available to pre-load on May 11, a couple of days ahead of release.

There isn’t long left until the game’s launch now, so hopefully these details will be confirmed in an official basis not long from now. The PC audience in particular will want to know the full minimum and recommended requirements for the game, which are yet to be revealed.

Evil Dead: The Game launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 13.
