Evolve Beta Available Now for Xbox Live Gold Subscribers

Turtle Rock Studios’ open beta for Evolve is now available for the Xbox One. Weighing in at 20 GB, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold account in order to play. Simply head to the Xbox Store for the download.

The beta’s servers went live at 9 AM PDT/12 PM EDT and will run up till January 19th, 8 PM PDT/11 PM PDT. You’ll have two Monsters – Kraken and Goliath – to play around with along with 12 maps, eight hunters and on January 17th, the Evacuation mode as well. All progress and unlocks in the open beta will carry over into the full game if you buy it.

The Evolve beta will also be heading to the PS4 and PC but it will be severely limited and more of a technical test. Those who participated in the last beta will eligible and more details should be available soon. What are your thoughts on the open beta for Evolve? Let us know in the comments.
