Turtle Rock Studios’ Evolve is now available digitally and across retail stores worldwide, bringing 4 vs. 1 multiplayer gameplay to the masses. The developer has released a launch trailer to celebrate the game’s release and you can check it out above for a basic understanding of what to expect (along with short blurbs from critics).

Evolve centres around 4 Hunters – Medic, Assault, Trapper and Support – hunting down a singular Monster across different modes and maps. The twist is in the fact that along with the Hunters being human players, the Monster is also a human player and can evolve into higher stages. While the Monster must reach Stage 3 to ultimately win, the Hunters need to dispatch the Monster before it grows in strength.

Releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Evolve has a 3 GB day one patch that you can read about here. Have you picked up the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
