We once again have another crusader ignorantly blaming video games for teen violence. This time it’s supposed expert Phil Chalmers, who berates violent video games on Fox News 8 in regards to the halo murderer Daniel Petric. He then sneakily adds in that he’s releasing a new book on teen violence. Yeah Phil, because it’s not at all about the money is it?
Despite the video stating that “there has never been a causal link established between real-life violence and video game violence in any verifiable scientific study,” Chalmers disagree saying “the medical community has released a joint statement that basically says, you know, if children are exposed to violent media, they’re going to become violent.” Strong and confident words from the master himself.
