Codemasters has finally announced an official release date for F1 2013, which will be out on October 4th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. As the next iteration in the series, it will feature all the latest cars and racers from the 2013 season. That means racers like Lewis Hamilton, Segio Perez and many others, along with improvements to split-screen and online multiplayer and some new gameplay modes as well.
This includes the F1 Classics mode, which allows you to race in classic cars on some legendary tracks against similarly legendary drivers of the 1980s for the first time. If that weren’t enough, broadcaster Murray Walker brings even more authenticity to the mode. Of course, the Classics mode content will also be available for use in split-screen and online multiplayer.
F1 2013 will also be available in a Classic Edition, which includes 1990s content along with some Classic tracks. Two DLC packs will also be available for purchase later.
