With F1 2018 just a few short weeks away from release, developers Codemasters have put out a brand new developer diary for the game, which features Senior Car Handling Designer David Greco demonstrating how the vehicle handling model in the game will work. Proper car handling is, of course, a must for any racing game, and especially for a racing sim such as F1 2018, which purports to deliver an authentic experience to fans of the motorsport.
This nine minute long developer diary shows off a lot about the game, from new in game footage to how the physics (including momentum and traction) are handled (heh) in terms of the overall handling model of the game. It sounds like Codemasters is doubling down on its commitment to deliver an authentic recreation of Formula One to fans around the globe (something they have admittedly done a great job with even in the past).
F1 2018 launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 24.
