Codemasters’ latest attempt to bring you into the driver’s seat of a formula race car drops very soon, with F1 2018 launching for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on August 24th. Hoping to convince you to preorder to get some of the previously announced classic cars, Codemasters released a new trailer which takes you for a quick lap.

In a tour of a track led by German racer Nico Hulkenberg, the trailer shows off some of the first gameplay footage, with the champion F1 racer giving some tips on how he navigates Hockenheimring. The track is a faithful recreation of the famous German circuit, which is broken down by Hulkenberg turn by turn.

When players begin their own career upon release next month, it’s not just their performance on the track they’ll need to watch. The press will be listening to every statement, and what you say will have just as much of an impact as how you drive.
