F1 2019

Codemasters is doing a lot of driving this year, with a reboot of their GRID series later this year, as well as the next entry in their highly successful F1 series, F1 2019. They’ve been showing off how good the game will look with some screenshots. This time they want to give us a taste of the night life as we cruise through Bahrain.

We’ve seen some comparison screens in the past to F1 2018 in the Monaco track. Those were in the bright daytime, so now we can see how the graphics stack up in the darker night settings. As you can see from the screens below, there’s definitely a familiar look (as you’d expect from any annual franchise), but there’s a stark contrast in things like shadowing, detail, and background. Not a bad step up from last year’s entry by the looks of it.

F1 2019 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC June 28th.
