GRID 2019

Codemasters will bring back their racing series with GRID, a reboot to the racing franchise that’s been dormant since 2014. The games emphasizes the ability to take different paths in races, allowing a little more freedom than typically found in racing titles of this nature. We got the official reveal trailer yesterday, and today we get a look at two of the game’s locations.

The game will have 12 unique locations to race through. Two of those will be Shangai and San Francisco, and Codemasters have released a gameplay preview to show off both (via IGN). You can see it below to check out both, the first person view, as well as the standard behind-the-car camera. One part takes place in daytime, with the other during the night, and you get a good view of the variety of different car builds that you’ll see in the game.

GRID releases September 13th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
