F1 Challenge Is Now Out; Here, Check Out This New Trailer

Formula One racing on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Codemasters has announced that F1 Challenge, an F1 themed racing game for mobile and tablet devices, is now available on the App Store. This game marks the developer’s first attempt at a mobile game, and it actually looks fairly impressive. While it doesn’t seem to be that remarkable, graphically speaking, the actual gameplay seems to be deeper and more substantial than most other racers on the platform.

It’s the full authentic F1 experience, with full content from the 2012 season (including cars, drivers, tracks, and teams). As is the case with so many Codemasters games, the game is also littered with delightful Formula One facts that players can unlock by playing the game. With over ninety challenges, the game is also meatier than other offerings on iOS devices.

F1 Challenge is the first F1 game on mobile devices; no doubt it is a test bed to see how Codemasters’ games are received on those platforms.

We will have more coverage for you on this game, so stay tuned.
