Emeteria and New Tales took to the stage during Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2025 to unveil a new action adventure title – Fading Echo. The game was announced with a trailer showcasing quite a bit of its gameplay. Check it out below.
In Fading Echo, players take on the role of a young Legend in the floating islands of Corel. The player is on a quest to discover her past, and also take on enemies that might cast doubt on her future.
Along with hack-and-slash action, one of the core gameplay mechanics in Fading Echo will be the protagonist’s ability to turn into a blob of water. Along with using this ability for platforming and navigating through obstacles like gates, the blob of water can also take on different properties, like going into lava to turn into steam to then get the ability to float for a while.
Fading Echo doesn’t yet have a release date, but it is coming soon to PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
