Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition

Fallout fans on the Nintendo Switch 2 have probably waiting for the release of Fallout 4’s Anniversary Edition on the platform. Well, the day has finally come, and the launch trailer took us back to fond memories of our time with the game over the years.

This version of the game is arguably the definitive way to play it, bringing a lot of extra content aside from the base game, including its six expansions and a plethora of options from its Creation Club for those of you who like to customize Dogmeat and your gear to your liking. Picking it up is probably going to keep you busy for many extended sessions of play, and you’re likely going to be reaching for a charger without even realizing the hours have gone by once you get some momentum in its massive open world.

However, we’re going to remind you about the rather messy launch state that this version of the game had on other platforms. While things may have been ironed out in time for the Switch 2 version’s release, it does deserve to be mentioned nonetheless. But, in the spirit of optimism, let’s hope that the Switch 2 version does better than its counterparts and brings its players the experience they deserve. That’s a strong possibility if the trailer is anything to go by.
