It has been over five years since Fallout 3 was released and fans have been literally begging for a sequel. But Bethesda on the other hand are pretty adamant about not releasing information anytime soon. But since the game is some what believed to be in development, rumors have been flying left and right.

However Bethesda’s Pete Hines has replied to a few queries about Fallout 4, specifically relating to rumors about the game. First of all he made clear that ‘Bethesda does not comment on any kind of rumors or speculations.’

But another user asked Pete to out right deny or confirm the rumours, to which he replied “then you should ignore everything unless it comes from an official source/channel. As we’ve said, previously.”

This got another fan involved who claimed that Pete was merely asking to ignore the rumor sources and was not debunking them. “I simply explained that 1) I don’t comment on rumors; 2) if you don’t know what to believe, believe the official sources,” Pete replied. Again, he is not denying or accepting that rumors are correct or no.

His last message is something that will interest you. He vaguely confirms that Todd Howard is working on the game. “What’s going on is Todd Howard has stated that it will be a long time before they’re ready to talk about their next game.”
