Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC PS4 FPS Issues Being Looked Into, Progression Issue Being Resolved

Fallout 4‘s Far Harbor DLC is having a fair bit of issues, especially on the PS4- and this is in spite of beta tests made for the thing to ensure that these kinds of problems wouldn’t crop up. Even as players continue to raise a ruckus (rightfully) over the broken patch and the plethora of issues that it is causing, Bethesda’s Pete Hines has taken to Twitter, assuring players that Bethesda is now aware of these problems (which escaped their notice during the beta testing), and that they will have a fix for them.

This is also the sentiment that is echoed by Bethesda on the official community forums on their site. “We made optimizations based on the Far Harbor beta feedback, but understand some people are experiencing issues. We are actively working on more improvements.  As we have news and information, we’ll update this post,” they said. “Thank you for playing Fallout 4.”

It’s a shame that Bethesda continue to run into so many problems with their games even more than a decade after their games first started running into issues like these. A long time ago, this was excusable- they were doing things that no one else on the market was, and after all, their games were far beyond other games in scope. But as other AAA titles have continued to catch up with, and even exceed, Bethesda over the last few years, Bethesda’s sloppiness in this area becomes a lot more puzzling.
