Fallout 4

As we get ever closer to the official release of Fallout 4, the gaming community as a whole is lapping up every bit of information that is made available. Such is the case with the discovery of the manual which allows us to see some of the control schemes as it applies to the Xbox One. Of course, while the buttons might be different, we can also draw conclusions on how the control scheme is going to work for the PS4.

A couple of Redditors were the first one to notice the control manual had been made available through the Microsoft SmartGlass app. This is also why the manual was first spotted for the Xbox One. Among the features we can expect to be able to have our character do, is throw a grenade, bash somebody with a blunt instrument and take off sprinting.

At the very least, this will help you know how you are supposed to do special moves such as pulling up your PIP Boy as well. We won’t have to wait too much longer to give these controls a try. Fallout 4 is due to launch on November 10, 2015 which basically means we have exactly two more weeks.

The default control scheme is laid out below:

  • LB – VATS
  • RB – Bash / Power Attack / [hold] for Grenade
  • LT – Aim / Block
  • RT – Attack
  • Back – Toggle POV
  • Start – Pause
  • L – Move
  • L – [click] Sprint
  • R – Look
  • R – [click] Sneak
  • Y – Jump
  • B – Pipboy
  • X – Ready / Reload
  • A – Activate
  • PAD – Favorites
  • PAD + A – Select Favorite
