Fallout 4

After releasing a few beta patches weeks ago, Bethesda Steamworks has announced that the first official patch for Fallout 4 on PC is now available. This means you won’t have to opt into any beta programs in order to use the new patch.

The patch features will be very familiar to some one – they include the Numpad keys now being used for remapping and Remapping Activate now working on Quick Container; improvements to the general memory and stability, including performance improvements when you’re moving around inside the Corvega Assembly Plan; optimizations for skinned decal rendering; fixing issues like weapons being locked after finishing Reunions or players being stuck in terminals or even quest issues like the “When Freedom Calls” quest not completing; and much more.

You can download the update today on Steam to take advantage of all the fixes. Console players can expect the patch to arrive very soon on PS4 and Xbox One as per Bethesda’s release schedule.
