Fallout 4 PS4 Pro Support And PC High Resolution Texture Pack Coming Next Week

High resolution graphics all around.

At long last, Bethesda will be updating Fallout 4 for PS4 Pro support. The game was supposed to get the PS4 Pro patch last year, but the patch was delayed indefinitely at the last moment, without any reason given. Now, at last, PS4 Pro players can enjoy the game in native 1440p resolution, with enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs, and enhanced godray effects. Sadly, no 4K support, however.

PS4 players aren’t the only ones who get a treat from Bethesda- PC players will get a high resolution textures pack next week, too. “Consider this free download a love letter to our amazing PC fans that have supported us,” Bethesda said in a post on its blog, “not just with Fallout 4, but across multiple decades and games.”

You can check out the specs needed to run the high resolution texture pack for yourself below. Fallout 4 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i7-5820K or better
  • GTX 1080 8GB/AMD Radeon RX 490 8GB
  • 8GB+ Ram
