For those who were expecting Bethesda and Zenimax to announce Fallout 4 at the upcoming Gamescom, then be prepared to be disappointed. Pete Hines, who is the man behind public relations and marketing of games published by Bethesda, has debunked rumors that a sequel to Fallout 3 will be announced at the upcoming event.

When a fan wondered about what the potential ‘action-adventure RPG’ could be on Bethesda’s Gamescom listing, Hines stated that it is actually The Elder Scrolls Online. “The evil within and eso. now you can stop wondering,” he tweeted. We were expecting that Bethesda might announce Fallout 4 at Gamescom but we assume that the event might be too small for Bethesda to announce such a major entry in their popular franchise.

Looks like E3 2015 will be our best bet for some post apocalyptic action. What are your thoughts on this announcement? Are you heart broken? Let us know in the comments section below.
