Following the release of Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout 4 Automatron DLC, the developer revealed on Twitter that the revamped Survival Mode would be heading into beta on Steam soon.

Exactly when it will be arriving hasn’t been revealed. Survival Mode had a few details leaked several weeks ago thanks to datamining, including the disabling of quick-saving, Fatigue affecting one’s overall sickness and starvation level, disabling fast travel and adding an Adrenaline perk that increases damage as you score more kills. Bethesda confirmed these details to be true but that it was also tweaking the mode in the meantime.

It also seems that there won’t be a ‘Making of’ documentary for Fallout 4 since the developer didn’t have time to film one (according to Bethesda’s Pete Hines on Twitter). Oh well. At least Automatron seems to be tons of fun. What are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more updates.
