Did You Say Companion?
Yes! A companion in game can assist the player with many different tasks throughout the campaign. For example, through Bethesda’s on stage briefing, they showed the player come across a dog and instantly become companions. Will there be a friendship or loyalty meter? That part is unknown for now. Upon becoming a team of two, the player was able to click on certain objects throughout and tell his dog to go fetch certain items. In some instances it is clear that this will be a time savor. What’s more, this particular companion was able to wade off enemies, attack them and defend the player. Companions were available in previous Fallout games, though not to this extent. Also, the companion can’t die. Will there be other different companions? Bethesda refused to say more.
