Far Cry 3 is out by November 29th (December 4th for North America), but various details are beginning to come out, regarding the new skill system and now, the Achievements you can earn within the XBox 360 version of the game (of course). And while some people may find the whole exercise meandering, Ubisoft’s upcoming FPS features some interesting little details on how to garner it’s Achievements.
“Free Fall” rewards players for free-falling for 100 meters and living to tell the tale. “Archeology 101” is earned by gathering 60 relics within the game. For the more violent gamers, there’s “Heartless Pyro” which is award for killing 50 enemies with a flame-thrower within the single-player mode, and “Love the Boom”, awarded for simultaneously killing 4 enemies with a single explosion. Wanna “Say Hi to the Internet”? All you have to do is locate the lost Hollywood star. Something called the “final ceremony” is also hinted at with the “What a Trip” Achievement, besides Achievements awarded for various single player missions.
