First there was the leaked box art, and then Far Cry 3 lead writer Jeffrey Yohalem talking to Joystiq about new content. But now, via a Brazilian Ratings Board listing, it seems that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is certainly a thing.

We’re unsure what it could be, aside from the fact that it’s been rated for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It’s most likely a downloadable first person shooter spin-off, one that has been rated as “Not recommended for children under eighteen (18) years” due to the presence of “drugs, sex and extreme violence”.

Sure sounds like Far Cry 3, a first person shooter where you take control of Jason Brody and try to free your friends while systematically destroying the pirates and privateers who rule with an iron fist. In between, drugs and crazy Citra make their presence known.

Stay tuned for more details on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon from Ubisoft as they arrive.
