Far Cry 4 “Bringing Kyrat to Life” Details World Development Process

Insanity redefined.

Ubisoft Montreal’s Far Cry 4 will be bucking the series’ trend and heading to the mountains for the first time with the fictional Kyrat region somewhere in the Himalayas. Given the vast open size of the world, it only makes sense that the developer would travel to Nepal, among other places, to get the feel of the game right. Check out the latest development diary from the studio on bringing Kyrat to life.

Much like the actual city of Nepal, Kyrat is in the midst of a civil war in which the protagonist Ajay Ghale gets caught up. You’ll be heading to enemy camps and liberating them while moving closer to do battle with Pagan Min, a despotic king who is still shrouded in mystery.

Far Cry 4 will be out on November 18th for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Will you be picking up the game? Let us know in the comments.
