Ubisoft’s Far Cry 4 appeared at Sony’s Gamescom presser and we got a chance to see the stunning visuals of the fictional Himalayan region Kyrat. Check out the trailer above.
It also seems that Kyrat is more than just Far Cry 3’s land with snow. It houses the fabled Shangri-Là, which is very much a parallel universe unto itself. Here, you’ll find various mythical enemies to fight along with a white tiger to fight alongside you. He’ll either defend you when the going gets tough or attack nearby enemies. The bow makes a return as well with the Shangri-Là bow having special abilities like slowing down time.
Ubisoft also revealed that those purchase Far Cry 4 on PS3 and PS4 will recive 10 exclusive Keys to Kyrat to allow friends to play with them on PSN. It will only be a two hour trial period but you’ll be able to explore the world and gain rewards.
Far Cry 4 is out this November on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
