Far Cry 5’s Newest Patch Is Headlined by Loads of Crossover Content
Oh, and there’s other, actual meaningful improvements and stuff too, obviously.
A fun fan theory postulates that all Ubisoft games take place in a combined, shared universe. It’s the kind of theory that gains some traction thanks to nudges and winks to other Ubisoft games tucked away into other ones, such as Watch Dogs hinting at Abstergo emails within it, suggesting that it and Assassin’s Creed take place in the same universe.
Continuing in the tradition of these playful crossovers, the newest update for Far Cry 5, update 1.11, adds new masks to the game from a variety of Ubisoft games and franchises, including Watch Dogs, Rabbids, and For Honor. We also get a new texture pack (for the PC version only), as well as new weapons, new vehicles, and fixes to gameplay and stability bugs and glitches (which I need to remind you is what software patches usually are for).
As always, you can check out the full patch notes (as provided by Ubisoft) for the new update for yourself below. Far Cry 5 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
