Far Cry 5 Arcade

Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 is receiving a new live event on April 10th. Following up last week’s event that required pyromaniac tendencies (without using a flamethrower), this week’s event is called “Arcade Dawn”. Details on objectives and rewards, both for individual play and community participation, are still to come but it will run till April 17th.

Last week’s event bestowed a new outfit and a Prestige flamethrower to those who set as many animals ablaze as possible. Perhaps, as the name implies, “Arcade Dawn” is about completing objectives in Arcade mode? That’s the optional mode/toolkit where you can play and design custom maps for Far Cry 5.

It’s possible that one would have to play a set number of maps or even design one to receive their rewards. Low-effort deathmatch maps should see a neat uptick if the latter is true. Arcade mode as a whole should be easier to use thanks to the recent title update 4, which you can read about here.
