A new dawn awaits Far Cry fans when Far Cry New Dawn launches later today. To help assist players in surviving, Ubisoft has released a new trailer detailing all the different ways to upgrade Prosperity, your post-apocalyptic home base. Check it out below.

Prosperity consists of eight different facilities, including a training camp, cartography, healing garden, workbench, and Expeditions. Seeking out different individuals in the world will help improve the facilities, but you need ethanol as well. This is where assaulting Highwaymen outposts comes into play, as they hold caches of ethanol.

After taking over an outpost, you can either have your allies occupy it, or you can scavenge it. The latter will cause the Highwaymen to re-occupy the outpost with bigger threats, but they’ll also have more ethanol. You can also embark on and replay Expeditions for rare crafting materials. The Expeditions take you out of Hope County and into areas like wetlands and canyons. They also change every time, which should make for new challenges.

Far Cry New Dawn will be releasing for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out our official review here.
