Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Mr Karate On May 27

The legend of a fighter long gone, with the skills of one who’s pretty darn proficient makes for one hell of a DLC character, we must say.

We’ve been pretty excited about this one ever since we first told you about it. Mr Karate is pretty close to making his debut in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. About two days away, on May 27th, for Season 2 Pass holders.

He takes the stage quite close after the major update in celebration of the game’s first anniversary, but could be seen as an extension of the festivities. Mr Karate brings a very potent fighting style to the table, as he’s said to have mastered his unique Kyokugen style of karate. Of course, that’s not all that’s being said about him, as his tengu mask ties him to the legend of a capable fighter who once caused some sort of disruption to South Town’s rhythm. However long it’s been since, they caused enough of a ripple that Mr Karate has some big shoes to fill.

Fortunately, he’s up to the task, with the brutal use of his fists and feet to keep his opponents off balance and unable to fight back. We’re particularly interested in using those flurries to juggle opponents, and his punches look like they have a lot of launch potential to extend combos nigh-endlessly. As always, Mr Karate gets his own trailer – check it out below to see why he’s so darn cool.
