Remember that collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo that SNK announced for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves? Against many expectations, it’s resulted in the Al Nassr footballer appearing as a playable character. Check out some of his unsurprisingly football-focused moveset in the announcement trailer below.

Ronaldo’s fighting style combines Football and Martial Arts. He’s essentially in South Town to “hone his new football skills.” Whether he’ll play a more significant role in the story remains to be seen, but his Command List is available. One noteworthy skill is manipulating an energy ball, which he can launch at opponents from the ground and mid-air.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches on April 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, and PC. Pre-orders get three days of early access, but everyone will receive Season Pass 1, which provides five additional DLC characters post-launch. These include Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mr. Big, and Street Fighter veterans Chun-Li and Ken Masters. Head here for their release windows.
