tinyBuild has announced a new FPS survival game with a unique setting that involves dinosaurs. Titled Ferocious, the game was announced during the PC Gaming Show, and the studio has since released a trailer that features developer commentary for the upcoming game.
According to PCGamer, the studio behind the game has been heavily influenced by classic monster movies like King Kong and Jurassic Park. The game also apparently takes some inspiration from earlier Far Cry titles, which involved players stalking through lush jungles as they used weapons as well as stealth to complete their objectives.
Ferocious will also feature quite a bit of emphasis on realism, especially when it comes to the game’s survival mechanics. The game also goes for a photo-realistic aesthetic with its lush forests and water effects. Along the way, players will also be able to look for secrets that hint that there might be other humans in the area as well.
