FIFA 13 released about a month back, on September 25th in the US and a few days later worldwide, and in just four weeks, the title has gone ahead and sold a whopping 7.3 million copies already.
After selling 4.5 million copies in the first five days after its launch, this should not have come as much of a shock, but it does.
These sales include mobile downloads, and selling so damn much has also made FIFA 13 the “biggest sports launch of all-time.” Along with Madden, FIFA also “debuted as one of the two top-selling titles in September in the Western World.”
EA also announced that the digital revenue of FIFA has exceeded $115 million in the first half of the current fiscal year itself.
In our review of FIFA 13, we gave it a solid score of 8.5/10, saying that while it’s not the revolution that 12 was, it still is a great game. Read the review here.
