Ultimate Team Mode is arguably one of EA’s biggest, if not the biggest, money-makers and has drive popularity for the FIFA games since its inception. Now, Ultimate Team is back for FIFA 14 and in this new video, producer Marcel Kuhn talks about some of the new features to be expected.

First off, the visuals, as when you trade player, they will be represented by shield icons now. There’s also the Chemistry system, which lets you alter attributes for players using consumables in order to better fit them for your team. There will also be new Chemistry Styles which determine the attributes to be affected. Low, medium and high boosts will be made available when boosting the Chemistry of specific attributes.

Other features include single online match mode and new customization options for assigning roles and kit numbers to players. FIFA 14 is currently slated to release on September 24th in North America and September 27th in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii and current generation handhelds. Xbox One and PS4 releases are expected when both consoles launch later this year, with the former benefiting from the exclusive Ignite engine.
