FIFA 15 Demo is “Most Ever Played” in History of EA Sports

5.5 million people reportedly played the demo across "one or more" platforms.

EA Sports’ FIFA 15 is available in North America for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC but the publisher recently revealed that its demo has been its most successful ever. The demo was apparently played by 5.5 million people according to EA and they did so on one or more platforms.

VP and GM of EA Sports David Rutter stated that, “We believe we have built a game in FIFA 15 that delivers the most immersive and responsive gameplay experience ever in the FIFA franchise.”

FIFA 15 will be out in Europe on September 26th and has been receiving some fairly positive praise thus far. It will support the Ignite Engine on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 along with implementing several new mechanics to go with its 35 licensed leagues, over 600 clubs and +16,000 players.
