It’s that time of year once more for the most popular footballer game out there to come in FIFA 21. The annual sports series is one of the most consistent and ongoing sales juggernauts in the industry, and I imagine 21 won’t be any different. Now we get the official reveal, as well as who you’ll get on the cover.

You can see the official reveal trailer below. There actually isn’t a lot of the game itself in there, focusing instead on the love of football/soccer and as well as the communal aspect of both the real-life game and playing FIFA. We also get confirmation that Kylian Mbappé, the 21 year old forward for the Paris-Saint Germain, will be the cover star, and will actually grace all three editions of the game: standard, champions and ultimate.

FIFA 21 is set to release on October 9th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. A PS5 and Xbox Series X version will come later with a limited time free upgrade program. The PC version will be based on the PS4 and Xbox One, and the Switch port is confirmed to be another Legacy Edition release.
