FIFA 23 is here, and the last major title under Electronic Arts as its agreement with FIFA ends. Some things never change, including the best ways to earn Coins for Ultimate Team or FUT. Whether you’re a new player or a veteran, let’s look at all the different ways to profit.
The market will be your best friend during the entire experience as you purchase and sell cards. One tried-and-true method is purchasing 83-and-higher rated cards that are lower priority. Once they appear in Squad-Building Challenges, you can flip these for a higher price. Patience is key, and while you should purchase a good number of them, don’t blow your entire budget on the same.
Another way to flip cards is to wait until you’ve collected your rewards for Division Rivals and Squad Battles. Keep a close eye on the Lightning Rounds when more valuable packs are sold for FIFA Points (so Rare Player Packs cost 1000 FIFA Points, and Jumbo Rare Player packs cost 2000). Eventually, other players will list their rewards on the market, causing the price of certain cards to go down depending on their supply.
Search for specific cards, like those that would be good for Squad Building Challenges, and find the lowest price. Once you’ve purchased as many as possible, wait it out and list those cards for higher prices than usual.
Another method is to bid on the higher-priced SBC cards. Bid on as many as possible for low prices. Who knows? You may be able to score a few for a much lower price.
Milestone Objectives are another decent way to earn coins, though not directly. Completing the 25 Golden Passes objective in Assist Mastery can net two packs with 75-83 Rated players, which can be sold on the market. Playing matches with all-bronze squads can also provide Gold Packs as rewards. There’s a lot on offer, even if it can take some time to complete the more rewarding objectives.
Finally, look out for Team of the Week cards. They sell out fairly quickly and can be useful in the future, especially in Squad Building Challenges. Also, remember to use the Quick Sell function for items or lower-rated cards – this allows for amassing coins without jumping through hoops to list them on the market. Just keep in mind that you get less in return.
