Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers

The MMO has largely gone the way of the dodo. While there’s still a few ongoing in existence, with the rise of live service titles the genre has largely gone by the wayside. One of the remaining games that’s still successful is Final Fantasy 14. The game is somewhat legendary for a lot of reasons, and now one of those is its great player base.

As announced by Sqaure Enix in a new press release, the game has now flown by a new milestone. The MMORPG now has more than 18 million registered players according to the publisher. The game has continued to get updates, such as the latest crossover with the NieR franchise, and it seems it’ll be getting even more with those kind of numbers.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC if you want to join in on the fun. The game should also be coming soon to the Xbox One as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
