Final Fantasy 15 Beats Titanfall 2 And Battlefield 1 In Sony PS4’s Japanese PSN Charts

Unsurprising.

Posted By | On 11th, Dec. 2016

I’m sure all of us expected this, but Final Fantasy 15, while commercially disappointing in Japan upon its release, still seems to be outperforming other, western games in the country. According to the weekly PSN charts for the country of Japan, Final Fantasy 15 has predictably come in at the top, beating out major western games such as Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2.

Of course, this was always expected – Final Fantasy 15, even in its truncated sales performance, was a massive hit, selling over 700,000 copies – especially since Square Enix reported record breaking digital numbers. Still, now we have more proof and validation.

The digital numbers are unlikely to compensate for how weak the performance for the game has been otherwise, but at least they add to the disappointing total somewhat. You can check out the chart rankings below:

  1. Final Fantasy XV
  2. Titanfall 2
  3. Battlefield 1
  4. SD Gundam: G Generation Genesis
  5. Watch_Dogs 2
  6. Minecraft
  7. Arcade Archives: Castlevania
  8. Inside
  9. Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru
