Renowned video game director Hajime Tabata recently took part in a live stream in which he spoke about how long players can expect the Final Fantasy XV demo to last. In case you were wondering, he mentions this because all who buy Final Fantasy Type-0 HDwill receive a download code for the demo.

He says that it would take, at the very least, one hour to complete. But if you were to play it normally it would take somewhere in the region of three to four hours. The demo, upon its release, will only be available for a set period of time to be downloaded and while that window of time hasn’t been clearly defined yet, it should’nt be “too long” before it’s announced and we know what more to expect from it in terms on length and gameplay content.

Tabata once again wanted to press the issue of Final Fantasy  15 being the next generation of Final Fantasy, “And with regards to Final Fantasy XV, we’d love everyone to look forward to that as well, and we really want to deliver and showcase that it’s really a new generation of Final Fantasy and we’ll be showcasing that along with Final Fantasy Type-0, so we hope people will look forward to that as well.”
