Final Fantasy 15: Gameplay Walkthrough Offers Better Look

Still rather pretty looking, who would've guessed?

Fancy a more in depth look at that lovely little game called Final Fantasy 15? Then look no further than the above video which, despite making use of some really janky capture technology if the frame rate is anything to go by, it does a rather admirable job of giving you a better look into the world that sprawls out before your booted feet.

The most impressive part of the video in my not very humble opinion is around the 6:50 – 7:00 mark where we see the player transition from a wooded area onto a hill. It helps really convey the scale of the world, it also does a great job of showing the shadows flickering between the trees and grass. Though the draw distance is really not very impressive at all. You can see the grass growing as you get closer which is not a good thing. That stopped happening towards the end of the 7th generation.
