Square Enix shared quite a bit of information about Final Fantasy 15 at the recently completed Tokyo Games show included an updated trailer for the game. Though in true Final Fantasy 15 style, every time the company actually did shed some new light on something in the game, they did so in a way that left more questions in its wake. Take for instance the explanation of the “Black Haired Woman.”
This character has popped up in some of the new artwork for the game and Square Enix was kind enough to divulge that the woman’s name is Gentiana. In a couple of pieces of artwork, Gentiana has appeared as though she is popping up behind Luna. We know now that Gentiana will play an important part in the story of the game, though just what kind of important part she will play has been left out. The company’s English language Twitter page at least furnished us with that much information.
In addition to a little more light being shed on Final Fantasy 15, the company unveiled another chapter in the ongoing saga of Kingdom Hearts 3. While that game wasn’t really talked about at TGS, the firm did unveil something called Kingdom Hearts 2.8: The Final Chapter Prologue. They also unveiled Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep: A Fragmentory Passage. This will be included in 2.8 and will see Aqua make her way through the world of darkness, according to Gematsu and it will be using uses Kingdom Hearts III technology. As with Kingdom Hearts 3, there isn’t an official release date known for this game just yet.
