Final Fantasy 15 New Footage Shows Off Hair Physics And A Driving Mode

We found out earlier today that we’re going to be finding out an official Final Fantasy 15 release date in the first half of next year today at Pax Prime. Now that we’re getting closer to knowing when we can expect to see the entire game, we are also getting to feast out eyes on brand new footage showing what the game looks like right now.

The video doesn’t bring a ton of new content. In fact, it appears to be one long scene, but there’s still plenty there to get us excited for whenever this game is going to launch. It appears that some of the best hair physics that are out there are being made available as we see four characters from Final Fantasy 15 head out on the highway in very nice looking in its own right convertible car.

The wind is blowing through all four characters’ hair and it certainly looks quite realistic. We didn’t even know we wanted to see what a mullet blowing in the wind inside a video game looked like until we saw it in this particular footage. There is also a new kind of mode being shown off, and can only be called the “driving mode.” Basically this mode allows the player to switch from third person to first person point of views in order to see the world through the eyes of the driver as he peers out through the car’s windshield. Final Fantasy 15 will get an official release date sometime in March of 2016.
